atonement_poster.jpgHollywood started the year with a bang of controversy as the New Year settled in which momentarily erased Hilton, Spears and Logan in the controversial map. A few weeks back, Hollywood actors vowed to boycott the 65th Golden Globes ceremony which was held last January 13, 2008 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton.

The said boycott is a show of support for the striking Hollywood writers”, according to the Actors Union. The two-month strike has forced the suspension of numerous television series as well as the postponement of work on several Hollywood films.

“After considerable outreach to Golden Globe actor nominees and their representatives over the past several weeks, there appears to be unanimous agreement that these actors will not cross WGA picket lines to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters,” Rosenberg said.
